Turtle behavior is varied, how can you identify as a Turtle when not every Turtle has a similar lifestyle. Maybe "turtle" is claustrophilic? "An abnormal or morbid desire for confinement in an enclosed space." I'll agree though. And ask when did dissociated identities get taken out of DSM? And suggest this isn't the person for a mental health board. The left does a lot of unintentionally ironic things too.

You know, people who desire publicity and celebrity enough to undertake any manner of behavior to maintain the "spot light" on them. Or is that a publicist-exclusive thing? "I am who I am"... somebody famous said that. ![]()

Putting aside the whole 'gender' part of the identity-seeking affirmation, I actually find myself sympathizing with the whole 'turtle' thing. Carrying your own shell around, ready to protect you and go self-sufficient at any time. Cozy. Plus, there's something that's just so jaded about how turtles look. Like they've seen everything, and only have passion left maybe for a nice flap in cool water, sand, or mud. But no more than that, and slowly too.
Also that whole turtle on a fencepost thing. That's us. We didn't ask to be here. Or did we? |
