Doesn't AI know that actors should not be looking into the camera even if there is no camera?

There are still plenty of problems with A.I. however it is amazing how far this stuff has come in just the last 10 years.

The future may be a couple of individuals and a computer making the big bucks that once went to skilled actors.  The time traveling videos are very well done IMO.
Quote:A viral Instagram account, which appears to show a young woman “time travelling” through history, has racked up millions of views online. Sky's science and technology editor Tom Clarke tracks down the Instagram celebrity, and reveals how a single person is using a new Chinese AI video model, Seedance 2.0, to create hyper realistic, emotionally convincing scenes. Tom explores the rapid evolution of AI video and why this sudden leap in quality is alarming Hollywood and threatening to upend how films and video are made.

LLM uses a specific algorithm to achieve that perceived beauty. Notice how she has almond-shaped eyes, high cheekbones, specific small nose - these are just some of the given symmetrical features 'pretty' avatars will have.

----------

"AI models trained on social media and celebrity images heavily favor symmetric, Eurocentric features like large eyes, defined jawlines, and smooth skin, which often results in generated avatars looking like a standardized "ideal" rather than diverse human faces.  These algorithms prioritize specific traits—such as almond-shaped eyes, high cheekbones, and specific nose shapes—because they are overrepresented in training data from platforms where users frequently apply filters and makeup to conform to these norms.
While some advanced systems attempt to personalize attractiveness by analyzing brain activity to generate faces tailored to individual preferences, the dominant trend remains the reinforcement of existing biases.  This occurs because:
  • Training Data Bias: Models often learn from datasets dominated by white, young, and conventionally attractive faces, leading to a "default" look that excludes diverse features.
  • Social Feedback Loops: Algorithms amplify content that matches these pre-set beauty standards, making users more likely to see and emulate them.
  • Commercial Incentives: Dating apps and cosmetic tools use these scores to rank users, creating a cycle where "pretty" is defined by algorithmic metrics rather than individual human variation.
Recent research indicates that while AI can identify and replicate specific attractive features (like mouth shape for women or chin structure for men), the resulting avatars often lack the nuance of real human diversity, effectively dictating public perception of beauty through a homogenized digital lens."

The A.I. production of movies in China is affecting the actors big time !

I prefer authentic, creative and imperfect real life actors/actresses and musicians.

There is a certain level of magic they can create imo that AI cannot.

For memes AI is fine, for movies and music keep it real please.
In tune
