Where are my pics???

Okay, although most pics come up this has happened to me a few times where I click upload, go pick out pic/file and then back to the thread I want to post on but when I go to paste, nothing will paste.  When I try and do the whole process again and re downloading pic it says file already exist and I can’t reload it or find the existing file.   

So…… where is the existing file because I can’t find my pics anywhere???

like I said it doesn’t always happen but it has a few times.  My only work around I’ve found is by taking a screenshot of pic I wanted, this writes a new file name, okay, but what a pia.

It must be a file management issue behind the scenes... (you know the hamster in the wheel)...

I have no clue what’s going on.  Another bug is the alert button, I have to push it many times before it registers.

the alert button seems to work, but there's a delay (5-10 seconds?) sometimes. i don't think you need to click it multiple times. it seems to open faster when there's no alerts to display? dunno, there's discussion in another thread about it.


if you lose the url when you upload a picture, you can reconstruct it by putting first "https://denyignorance.com/uploader/images/" and then the file name as it is on your computer. i think there's a gallery feature on the board wish-list that will show them too, but that's not implemented yet as far as i can see.

I just went to try to upload a photo that has already been uploaded. I did get the same message.  I am on my iPhone. TSK posted above. A screen shot changes the file name on mobile.

Yep, that’s what I did for a workaround.  But yes I was getting the same notice.
