Yes ... science wins the debate ... which means you lose.
Men are not women.
Women are not men.
Gender dysphoria is a DISORDER.
Just because someone thinks they are the opposite sex, doesn't make it so.
Just like just because someone thinks they are a dog, doesn't make them one.
XX/XY

Comeon Annee ... answer the question.
You keep running away from it.
We all know why.

You’re going for cross species in your failing argument now?

It's not a 'failing argument'.
It's a legitimate question.
You falsely claim that the dysfunctional delusional brain decides if someone is male or female.
So if the dysfunctional delusional brain decides it's a dog ... is it really a dog?
You run away from answering.
We all know why.

I’ve been following this for more than 30 years. Began when I worked for a company where I was the minority being straight.

I remember when Michelangelo Signorile — on air — as a gay man publicly apologized for not supporting transgenders.

Did you know Autism and Transgender often go hand-in-hand?  Both neurological (brain wiring).

Your brain tells you who you are.

I can accept that neurologically born transgenders can not help it definitely, however, there are other people who feel they are transgender because of trauma and choose a path etc. I believe genetic anomalies are a rare case, I myself have a neurological condition called tourettes I was born this way Biggrin but I can appreciate you shedding light on the fact that they may be born that way as well but my next question would be what neurological test are there for this condition?

I've been tested my entire life and if transgender have not then how could this be? Its the same way with autism and every other neurological disorder. Could or should state funding be allocated to this? It could and maybe even dare I say should be, however, in order to do so it would have to be treated as a problem. One that people would want to fix and be treated for like a disability?

Am I making sense? Because tourettes is not a fun time and im sure other neurological conditions aren't as well. Is there acceptance? Sure, but it starts by accepting that the neurological condition is a problem.

Furthermore, except for severe cases like possible brain damage there indeed are ways to rewire your brain neurologically and even more to create new pathways and there are even experiments being done now with controlled psilocybin *found in magic mushrooms* but using it to rewire the brain but taking away the side effect of getting high off it to cure trauma like PTSD etc but the older tests used what is called behavioral modification to train you to be more socialogically acceptable.

You can not choose to be neurologically different its currently impossible

Thank you for your intelligent conversation.

I’ll address it ASAP.  Can’t right now.

How about you address the question I asked you first.
If a person thinks they are a dog, are they really a dog?

You are making perfect sense to me. My eldest daughter was diagnosed ADHD back about 1973 (I believe high functioning Autism is more accurate). She was part-time in special training.

Yes — born that way.

But even back then they told me “the brain can train” with focus.

I know this is not about gender — but we’re also discussing brain influence.

However, ask any known Liberal here or anywhere else and you will get word salad double talk that would make your head spin.

Some people just like to make things complicated.  Some people like watching over complicated dramas on TV, I prefer Abbott and Costello and Jackie Chan type movies.

I liked it way better back in the seventies than it is now.  Even a gay or Lesbian  person understood what sex they were, it was just their preference of who they wanted to go out with that was different than straight people back then.
