What's Your Social Enslavement Score?
#1
Following on from this interview concerning global technocratic dictatorships, impending digital caste systems and enforced cybernetic behavioural control grids thought there was a really relevant vid below concerning the existing state of affairs in China.

Genuinely disturbing stuff and hopefully not coming to a city near you in the near future (although looks like the infrastructure is being put in place).

• What’s Your Social Credit Score?

Quote:The Chinese government has instituted a high-tech, data vacuuming social credit score system to continuously monitor the “trustworthiness” and obedience of its 1.4 billion citizens.

Each citizen will be tracked, rated, and rewarded or punished by the government with the help of its high tech corporate partners.

The lesson imparted really isn’t about the value of being a decent person of high character and moral values… instead, it’s about living in constant fear under constant tyrannical surveillance, being afraid of public scrutiny and shame, while sucking up to authority and the government.

Don't know how folks feel about the forcefully imposed 'purification' of human society but looks like warnings about being enslaved into a digital panopticon (and the weaponization of data) don't sound as outlandish as they did a few years ago.

Can also see this model being insanely attractive to certain corporatocracy mindsets as not only does it allow for the extinction of privacy but also ensures punishment for those who do not mindlessly conform, unquestiningly obey or engage in critical thinking in any way, shape or form.

It's just Mao in version 2.0
You can brainwash people into submission but in reality you can't "yet" control people's internal dialog. If we're being honest many of us already conform on the job, in our communities, grooming our public persona to fit societal norms so again we're guilty of "pointing fingers".

It's just not legislated really as much as what Chinais imposing. Socialist countries are socialist so this isn't a big shocker. We're already saying NO to woke things here & legislators are discovering the US populis (sp) isn't going to just roll over. No ones compared China's social score to our version  which is the "good credit rating".

It all depends on what they’re going to care about.

Said differently, are you a “threat” to the administration or not? Are you a violent threat? Are you not transparent? Do you have a criminal history? Are you employed or a burden on the state? Are at least becoming “green”? What clubs are you part of? Do you post frequently on mainstream social media? Do you use digital payments? Do you buy questionable items? Are you a religious extremist? Do you engage in significant hate-speech based on race/gender/orientation? Are you philanthropic? Do you donate to political causes?

There’s a lot there that I suspect could form your score.

The only issue with this system is the controlling of political expression and thought - which is the obvious big issue IMO. There are lots of other aspects of this that in a way might actually benefit people and particularly in a society where machines have been taking jobs. What’s the currency if you have 1.2bn people but only need 300 million workers? The government has to have a means of compensating people and “social credit” may have a lot more to do with how many “credits” people get (aka money) than their score in the system.

The more I think about it - that’s what is scary.

If the US has ~400mm people now (less but let’s say about that) and we suddenly only need 80 million workers… how do you compensate the rest? You compensate them by being positive contributors to society and they get “credits” for toeing the line. The classes will be stratified by “employed” and then the social score. The implications of this being you probably can’t get a job with a low social score - meaning criminal history or other issues. Employers must love this because the government does the vetting of employees for them. No liability.

The whole social credit thing kind of just getting in front of a problem my generation will probability inherit - many more people than needed workers. Have to keep the masses pacified - which is probably the role the Metaverse is a part of filling.

Now I’m rambling. Interesting topic.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I just don't feel reducing the human condition to algorithmically-compliant numbers is in keeping with a "normal human" existence.  It's like creating a new "master" to serve.

Also, the utility of making a life about a 'score' implies a radical antagonistic reaction to the inevitable reality of individuality and personal sovereignty.

Sure they may be able to point to 'benefits for all' - as long as it is defined by 'someone else' via computer processing.  I just don't want to 'serve' a machine... because I'm not one... so while we can never be individually equal... but me and everyone else with my same score are now "interchangeable" within all social score system operations.  Somehow I feel that diminishes me.

Maybe I'm wrong...  but in the case of algorithmic compliance, I prefer to be ungovernable.

I fully agree with you.

I’m going to assume you’re gainfully employed and self-sufficient. Or, you did that already and are now “out of the game” and living off your toils.

The reduction in human existence comes from the watered down nature of human existence.

If you have a total net worth that is > $1mm USD then you’re in the top 1% of global wealth. Think about that.

There are so many humans who won’t be able to provide utility that you have to create some structure that isn’t monetary-based for the masses.

This thread made me come to that realization. It’s sad. It’s not something I want. But you do need it. And the lines will get drawn around following the rules - which ironically is fully necessitated so the gainfully employed don’t suffer a Marie Antoinette moment, I suspect.

It’s a complicated world.

Thanks for the replies and reckon this video is a truly important one which examines the SCS system being 'road-tested' in China - it also includes government documents and charts various 'offences'.

It's insane lol.

Quote:Everyone thinks of China's social credit system as some sort of Black Mirror episode, while others compare it the the FICO score in the USA.

It's much, much more than that. In fact, I found the documents that highlight how it works.

For folks who doubt the potential for 'global integration' then thought Tech CEO Naomi Wolf made some interesting points below about how 'the vaccine passport platform is the same platform as a social credit system' and explains how tech companies (like Bill Gates Microsoft) have been vying for this 'incredibly lucrative and immensely powerful gov contract'.

Also found it relevant that most of the noise is coming from banksters and 'economists'.

Quote:"Vaccine passports can be used as an incentive to change behavior. They not only provide some direct benefits, but they signal what society expects from individuals. They exemplify a social norm that individuals are expected to comply with”

Described as “the most important organization you’ve never heard of,” MITRE rakes in massive security state contracts to pioneer invasive spy tech. Now it’s at the heart of a campaign to implement digital vaccine passports.

Indeed it is mate - aren't the government meant to serve the public lol?

Did I miss a meeting?

As far as 'following the money' goes it looks like the groups already mentioned are in full lockstep with the Rockefeller family (after they hijacked the climate movement) - pretty disturbing stuff considering they are right at the heart of the pseudo-scientific 'eugenics' movement.. where the main motivation is to 'eradicate the dysgenic germ plasm' from humanity (I'm not making this up).

This chap has conducted some sterling research on how the Rockefellers employed a Tavistock psychoanalyst into bullsh•tting everyone that excess CO2 is an 'ecological toxin' and turns out the family have 'funded almost everything regarding climate'.

• "And therein lies our current opportunity."

Following on from that vid it also looks like Mandatory PAC rationing will be absolutely enforced by the vaccine passport / SCS tech platform (hope I'm seriously wrong about that).

Quote:After Vaccine Passports It’s ‘Personal Carbon Allowances’

The plans being laid by “the experts” would also constrain our freedom by subjecting us all to a system of high-tech surveillance—one disturbingly similar to the tyrannical Chinese social credit system. An advocacy article in the prestigious science journal Nature by four environmental “experts,” lays out one such very disturbing proposal—a means of restricting individual behavior known as “personal carbon allowances,” or PCAs.

“A PCA scheme would be ‘a national mandatory policy’ that would entail all adults receiving an equal tradable carbon allowance that reduces over time in line with national [carbon] targets,” the article reads.
