Joining this board got me to reviewing the Ancient Civ section at ATS via the Internet Archive (Wayback Machine.)Came across this long discussion about supposed "Forbidden Egyptology."
Yeah, it's loaded with errors, some of which were shown erroneous long after the thread was created. But most of the errors were erroneous at the time of posting.
However, it certainly covers a lot of claims and a lot of the debunking of those claims.
If you read it, you might find yourself in there. I'm there. Hanslune is there. So are several others.
Don't know how many of you here were there in 2008.
Possibly, points from that thread could be re-addressed here in this thread, if anyone's interested enough.
