What Campbells Soup VP Says About Their Products and Customers
#1
Have you seen this?   Iconic Campbells soups ... All American brand .... what a Vice President of the company says about the products and about the people who buy them.

Story Here

Quote:(Former Employee) Robert Garza of Michigan filed a lawsuit against Campbell’s on Thursday and released audio he says features Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer Martin Bally. He provided the recording to Detroit’s Local 4 News, which broadcast portions of it.

In it, a speaker identified as Bally is heard saying: 'We have s**t for f***king poor people. Who buys our s**t? I don't buy Campbell's products barely anymore. It's not healthy now that I know what the f**'s in it.'

The speaker also referenced 'bioengineered meat,' saying, 'I don't wanna eat a piece of chicken that came from a 3D printer.' While bioengineered foods are allowed for sale in the US, companies are required to label such products.

Campbell's has disclosed that its canola, corn, soybean and sugar beet are grown from genetically modified seeds.

The Vice President who made the remarks is now 'on leave' while an investigation at the company is underway.
We switched to Progresso a few  years back.
I can't eat it ... I can't have gluten ... but my husband eats their clam chowder and tomato soup.

Campbell's Soup is one of the more expensive sorts here in the UK.

About £1.00-1.50 a can, depending on flavor.

I make my own Chicken & Leek soup.

Just made a big pot earlier in the day for my lad coming in from school.

I did GOOGLE AI Assist about salt in Campbells soup .... Here's the response ...

"Campbell's soups vary in salt content, but a regular can of condensed soup can have between 1400 and 1800 mg of sodium per can, with a single serving often exceeding half the daily recommended intake."

I am on a hearth healthy diet! For a heart-healthy diet, most adults should aim for no more than 2,300 mg of sodium per day! Lol

There are so many grandma recipes that use a can of Campbell's soup as a starting point. It's a form of lock-in. Does anyone actually eat their cream of mushroom soup in a bowl? Gross. The first time I made Beef Stroganoff for the family from scratch their minds were blown. Fresh mushrooms? What is this black magic?

I tried to make a 1970s Betty Crocker quiche recipe a few months ago and ended up with far too much filling, as it turns out the size of premade pie crusts has been shrinking for decades. But Campbell's can't change their recipes, because grandma will flip out. Boomers really had such garbage palates. I think they're the only reason places like Applebee's and Cracker Barrel are still in business. It's just the worst slop, but they seem to like it.

Yeah, we use a can of Campbell's condensed Chicken soup for all sorts of sauces and casserole dishes.

As far back as i can remember, even my grandmother did the same.
