War Erupts Between Pakistan And Afghanistan
#1
I personally think "War" is a bit of an overstatement even though the Afghanistan's Taliban vow to destroy Pakistan and establish a caliphate . There has been border skirmishes  since the Taliban took over Afghanistan.

I do wonder how much involvement the CIA (and maybe India)  has in all this. Since ISIS with their new Toyota's I figure with all the equipment Biden and company gave the Taliban with the USA withdrawal you would think the Taliban are well armed.

I did find the comments (especially from Europe and the U.K. ) amusing.

Quote:Pakistani jets remained in Afghan airspace after Islamabad launched strikes under Operation Ghazab lil-Haq, marking a dramatic escalation along the Durand Line. Pakistan claimed 133 Taliban fighters were killed, more than 200 injured, and 27 border posts destroyed as fighting intensified. Afghan forces responded with anti-aircraft fire over Kabul, while both sides reported heavy casualties. The conflict now pits Pakistan’s conventional military power — tanks, artillery, JF-17s and a nuclear deterrent — against the Taliban’s hybrid warfare doctrine built on guerrilla tactics, US-withdrawal weapons stockpiles, and mountainous terrain advantage. Analysts warn that even if Pakistan dominates the battlefield in the short term, the war could devolve into a prolonged insurgency with no clean victory for either side.

It seems Pakistan is itching for a fight didn't they try to start a war with India a couple months ago?

Pakistan and India are always having boarder skirmishes over places like Kashmir.

Unlike Pakistan, Afghanistan has no nukes.  This is not the hotbed of unrest needed to calm the middle east.

Yes.  I abhor those who refuse to recycle.
