#1
The UK announced a new Directed InfraRed Counter Measure system achieved a 100% success against multiple missiles in a recent live fire test that took place in Sweden. The system is being developed by Leonardo UK, Thales UK, and the Ministry of Defense Science and Technology Lab (DSTL). It consists of Thales' Elix-IR threat warning system, and Leonardo's Miysis DIRCM. The system is set to be installed on RAF A400M, Shadow R2, and other RAF aircraft.

Imagine how crazy you could drive a cat with one of those automated laser pointer thingies.  Poor puss would probably go into orbit!
