Apparently it is ok now. He had his tattoo covered up.

Kind of like cleaning the servers with a rag.

And I think I remember that he removed THAT flag from his office. Or was that someone else?

And they keep bringing it up of Fox News several times an hour today. Someone would have corrected them by now if they were wrong. But the Democrats say nothing when asked.

Those are kind of going easy about the taking over the Canaanite land, society, religion, people, etc..

The current Jews and Israelies are not the same as the biblical Israelites. But the same can be said about all groups of people. The current Greeks have almost no blood heritage form the Hallenes. Even the name of that place has changed over that length of time.

I have nothing against what was done thousands of years ago, no one alive today had any say in it. But some Muslims do.

And you reckon you are. Of course you do.

This, too, is something everybody believes – whether they mean right in moral terms or pragmatic ones.

You sing from exactly the same hymn-sheet as every opinionated fool, yet you think yourself unusually perceptive.

Par for the course, then.
Israel and Lebanon have a Ceasefire for now.
Quote:The Israeli and Lebanese governments have agreed to renew a ceasefire, both sides said Wednesday, after weeks of deadly fighting between Israel and the militant group Hezbollah in southern Lebanon had imperiled broader negotiations between the U.S. and Iran to end their conflict.
Quote:"All countries reaffirmed that the future of the relationship between Israel and Lebanon must be decided by the two sovereign governments," the statement read. "They rejected any attempt, by any state or non-state actor, to hold Lebanon's future hostage."

But hours after the announcement, Lebanon's state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported that Israel conducted drone strikes along roads at several south Lebanon locations and that at least one caused casualties, according to French news agency AFP.

And Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said Thursday that under terms of the agreement, his country's troops will stay in south Lebanon and continue operations there for the time being, and evacuated residents of the region won't be able to return to their homes. He also said the accord gives the military the "freedom" to strike Beirut if Hezbollah attacks Israeli communities.

It can only be good for Lebanon to eliminate the Hezbollah/Iran takeover of there country. This looks like a good opportunity for them.

Yeah this is BS.

I mean sure, I hope it’s true and works out too.

But like the previous “agreements” this is just Israel putting on a dog & pony show for Trump and the growing dissent at home as the ultra-orthodox Jews there are wreaking havoc at the proposition of their being drafted as the IDF is exhausted from the non-genocide these last years.

They have no interest in losing sight of their Greater Israel aspirations. You had Jonathan Pollard the traitor and Israeli spy running for office recently disclose in an interview, they need to wrap up Iran and Lebanon quickly so they can focus on Turkey and Egypt next. Lol

While I have no love for Hamas or Hezbollah, I understand their unwillingness and hesitation to part with arms. It’s really the only thing Zionism understands.

As I read in Haaretz today, as the Israeli idiom goes, “If force doesn’t work, use more force.”

Intersting to note, the Bored of Peace in Gaza has been sidelined and taken a back seat to actual strikes on both sides during this non-war.

Not sure how you can stomach them anymore DB.

Someone has brainwashed them thoroughly.

It seems to me that there are are many Americans who are also Democrats, and your President has frequently expressed open hatred of Democrats.

And then there's all those Republicans he suggests are somehow not real Republicans (RINO's). He hates them too.

Doesn't that make your President mostly an American hater?

But, back on topic, the (majority Republican) US House of Representatives have blocked Trump's war against Iran, directing him to withdraw forces, unless Congress authorizes use of military force or declares war.

That sounds both patriotic and reasonable.

America is not a country under a tyrannical unitary authority.

Ben Franklin, when asked about form of the Constitutional government that had been decided upon, said that the USA is "a republic, if you can keep it". That implies that it is important for the people to be constantly vigilant to prevent the dissolution of the republic. The ideal USA isn't a country of "yes men" under a bullying strongman.

Well he’s also the most “Jewish”, so there’s that too. But it’s a good point you make.

What I can’t square, is for all the folk on a particular side of this convo, is that I wanna know if there’s an inherent agreement that the BDS movement, the 35 states that have clauses disavowing businesses if they speak out against Israel/Gaza etc., having Israel being the only country we can’t criticize, and on and on is something they’re okay with.

Because honestly? You can’t have it both ways. You either love this country and the 1A, or you’re a fucking clown for thinking that not being able to speak your mind or boycott a particular country and ONLY that country makes sense as an American. Seriously, tell me like I’m 5.

I’ll wait for a suitable response. Honestly I’m perplexed at the acceptance of this as normal.

ETA: This extends to the Data Center issue btw, and the surveillance state and article 224, aligning our militaries, but that’s a different thread.

It’s strange you know. Almost a 100 years on from Nazi Germany, and yet here we are.

No doubt this is a complex situation, with multiple countries pursuing there individual interests.

With Iran's influence declining, it could be in Lebanon's interest to appease Israel.
Otherwise, Israel will continue to take Lebanese land.

And you can bet Americans will make up the occupying forces once Israel takes over our military.
