If encouraging Ukraine to give land for peace is out, then the only alternative that I've already posted is total economic, political, military defeat of Russia.

For being ex military and with a son in service I am surprised you forgot about EUCOM. So that part is done and if need be we can utilize USAFRICOM. They get shit done with no remorse when duty calls. Poland is always ready to go and more than willing and can handle the task if need be.

We can bring in NATO but I just don't feel it necessary to do so. Unless you want WW3 like you pointed out. I am sure many members of NATO would want to be directly involved but again unnecessary and if shit does go hot then they would be better served to hold tight while we reorganize and fully mobilize.
