When I mention "no online financials" I suppose I wasn't really clear, and I understand your point about playing thier game.
I have limited obligations with banking and employment and tax declarations which keeps interaction to a minimum and control of my own money in my life. The things I use online financials for is to avoid everyday banking on the whole and to keep the monthly things ticking over and understood, so no surprises. I just don't have a flow of uncontrolled things pecking away in the dark.
My life is incredibly simple and uncomplicated, and I believe THAT has been the key to my quiet happiness in a world watching their own financials and many living in anxiety because of it and the invisible obligations people build up over time making them chase more income to fund them. Things like subscriptions and credit have been a thing of the past or non-existant for decades now. If I can't pay for it from my pocket, it isn't for me.
The side effect of all this, is that the little luxuries now have so much more meaning and satisfaction.
So...I don't want to avoid ALL official financial systems, I just want to use the right ones enough to fly under the radar.
I'd be screwed if I won the lottery jackpot.
