Tom  Cruise is Ethan Hunt in Mission: Impossible Final Reckoning

Don't want to spoil it, but it's pretty good and pretty long, almost too long. It hits enough right in enough scenes that make me want to watch these last 2 as a double feature.

I think mostly it looks great because it's in a sea of bad movies, but like Daniel Craig's Bond, it's time for Ethan Hunt to retire... It's not that Cruise isn't convincing, just that the plot lines are played out.

Too bad I'll never pay a dime to see it. I refuse to give any scientologist a dime of my money especially after how he treated the sailors on the Lincoln during Top Gun 2 shooting. Not to mention he knows where David Miscavige buried his wife.

I dont like the Cruise in regards to how he treats people but his acting is not bad.
His best role may be the infomercial guy in Magnolia
He didnt even have to act ;)

Yeah, not a huge fan of Cruise, and my favorite film of his is American Made, but I binge-watched the first MIs through Ghost Protocol when I was recovering from surgery a while back

Everybody has their lines in the sand...

Somehow, I think Cruise will be fine without his percentage of your 20 bucks

Did you see his rant during COVID of him being an absolute dick on set in England?
It may have been for MI,I am not sure, since things got delayed so long.
Really treating his crew like a dictator. It was so bad someone was recording it.

This is funny timing too. A seller's booth at the consignment store was closing so everything like 25% off and this weekend for my library I got 2 Cruise's
RAIN MAN and
RISKY BUSINESS

I haven't seen the latter but I mean, you gotta respect the 80s.

Last week I rewatched Predator.  just beautiful explosions :D

He was protecting jobs. I suppose you believe every staff on set should have gone out protesting mandates instead of feeding their families. Smh

No I didn't but Ive heard he can be a prime A1 asshole...especially on set, but have heard the same about Bale and Hardy

And I know the Scientology stuff too, but it's not like Im writing him monthly checks. I watched some of his movies, but it's not like I watch them over and over

I forgot all about Rain Man and Risky Business...

The subject matter on American Made fits right in, though, the drugs, the guns, and Arkansas were hugely infiltrated with American government workers. One phone call to the governor of Arkansas, and the dead-to-rights guilty guy walked
