Time Keeper…
#1
[Image: zD8GN2D.png]

Above the Earth and far away lived the great time keeper named Nosh. Nosh runs all the clocks of time for the whole universe. Nosh and his wife Sara make sure not even one second is off on their clocks or else life all around will change.

Nosh has a special instrument to keep track of time. This instrument is in tune with the energy of the Universe. It measures seconds to the 1/100000 and is never wrong. Nosh and Sarah ( baby ) this instrument. They know not even one second can be off on their clocks of life.

One day Nosh noticed his world started to shake and crumble, he was worried his clocks would lose time. After hours of checking everything one clock was off by a second and all the people on planet Earth lived in peace...

I had a timing problem with a computer thingie once. It turned out that one of the cables was longer than expected. We hadn't accounted for that.

One extra foot of cable throws the timing off by one nanosecond -- a billionth of a second -- because that's how long it takes a photon to travel that distance.

So now when I hear computer stuff measured in "gigahertz" -- billions of cycles per second -- I think of a billion little steppy ticks of electrons moving one foot per tick, around in their little circuit chip maze.

Nosh would understand!

but they don't move, they just jiggle around. One after the other like a Mexican wave. It's a party in there.

Well, okay, I know that photons and electrons don't really exist, and space is fake and a joke and all that, but the physics psyop is usually mostly consistent and I was just playing along with the game at that level. Thanks for calling me on it.

it's because you looked, if you looked away nothing would have moved. so no mistake

I wonder what second of time was stolen?
