I was very impressed with the direction of this work. It delivers a genuine story, flush with allegory, but enjoyable even without it.

I first was thinking it similar to the I Pet Goat II work, but this kind of animation has a more visceral feel to it. I think it stands legitimately free of comparison.

I especially like the idea that whatever it is that will "save us" from our afflicted reality is within us all to reach...
(Perhaps we must only keep trying reach it... and forget the baggage of 'retribution' because we are all, in the end, equally afflicted.)

Love the freaking minimalist music.

But my question is, how can you turn black to white with the same type of thing that turns them black? Spreading ideals. To spread the essence of the "white heart" you are limited to what works socially, and independent thought is way still far off. Breaking those chains requires the same mechanism/controlnthat turned them black. Where not ready for a farewell to kings yet.

PC people just tried that move with diversity and inclusion and it backfired into a greater more vicious divide than before. How are you sure that the black hearts won't revolt and reject the whitening? I am doubting there is a magic form of ideology to save us when trying to share ideology is the problem.

The beginning part kinda reminds me of this video, but this is from a more OT Perspective. (David Draiman)
