Then, her eyes
#1
He didn't think, or ever suspect that he would find this in reality...
and knew it's subjective, but even so, he still never expected to be swept away...

It happened one day
as if he had never 'noticed' before...

Her eyes,

They were a well into which his soul wanted to leap.
It was a so intense that he could hardly speak
The way she gazed,
He felt "home."
The compass pointed to her.

And then she smiled.
He felt as if his soul was basking in it.
"I have never felt love before" he thought.
Her eyes forced the realization.

Again, her eyes embraced him,

To describe their color seemed like blasphemy...
Soft blends of strands of hazel, green, and something lighter.
But it was more than a painting,
captivating in their complexity.

He was lost in them... but forever.
Every memory he has is of her beautiful eyes...

"Don't question this," he thought

The answer to it all was right there...

It was.

That was beautiful Max yet somehow I sense a sadness.

There is perhaps a truth in that old saying that the eyes are the window to the soul.

Thank you kindly,

The sadness was unintentional...

Perhaps in drawing upon real life to inspire,
I lose the freedom to ignore my own feelings.

I recalled the effect of being thunderstruck
by beautiful eyes...

Sorry about that.
As you can imagine, it is a thing I miss.
