Don't get me wrong, I am not a warmonger, and I feel that all military conflict should take place in a formal confrontation to avoid massive destruction and death...

The Houthis appear to want a confrontation... perhaps so they can later claim victimization and apply for aid (- apologies... that was cynical.)

I confess major ignorance when it comes to the actual structure and mandate of the Houthi people's government... but I think "Make war with the US" is a pretty clear element of their objectives... do you think their people have any 'ownership' of the hostility?

Where is the 'conversation' in this friction?  Is there any?
