The Notorious Mr. Bout

I don't know how many of you have seen the documentary. I hadn't heard much about the so called "Merchant of Death" before watching this movie, nor had I seen the Nicholas Cage Lord of War movie supposedly based on him. Call me naive, but I think the picture painted of him by the media is pure propaganda. Most of this film is compromised of his home movies, and he recorded a lot of his business dealings on video. Its pretty wild. Hes an opportunist that doesn't ask questions, but beyond that, I really don't think he's a bad guy.

Lets be real, they just upset they didn't get to sell weapons instead of him.

Ever seen that event in like Saudia Arabia where all the defense companies show up and basically do an expo to try and sell weapons lol.

Yeah, those military weapons expos are fucking bizarre. We all sell weapons to bad people. In the US, even our enemies. We armed the Afghans during their conflict with Russia in the 80s only to have those same weapons used against us 20 years later.
