The Mysterious Fog Phenomenon
I myself don't have a problem with fog. As a matter of fact, there was one or two days maybe around the middle of December when I looked outside and said half-jokingly: "It's a really nice foggy day out there; good day to go for a ride". There does appear to be a variation in emotion/feeling that accompanies these rainy, overcast, and/or foggy days. It can be a good thing; maybe even help to break up the monotony a bit.
And then the videos started. Videos about this mysterious fog that was occurring around the country and even various other locations around the world, and it was anything but "good". There were and still are various complaints about this "fog" with perhaps a few key areas of interest:
1. Numerous complaints about people becoming sick after venturing out in or just relative to any type of exposure to this "fog" compounded by any pre-existing respiratory ailments.
2. Pets acting strange. Dogs refusing to go outside or behaving skittishly with their noses to the ground the entire time. Not wanting to stay outside as they normally would. Even doing their business inside the house to avoid going out. It's as if the "dogs" and even other animals were sensing something that was making them uneasy and afraid.
3. Visible particles within this fog. Not seeming like your typical fog perhaps, and even some have been 'reaching' towards an explanation of some sort of nano technology like "smart dust".
4. An unusual chemical smell accompanied by this fog.
5. Fog appearing at unusual times and prolonged when there normally wouldn't be any.
6. This fog appearing so thick at times with literally zero visibility creating road hazards and such.
7. Clean air machines that normally function properly indicating that there is 'some contaminant' that is persisting and unable to be filtered out.
8. Some odd new residue that is being left on the filters of air purifiers.
9. Predictions of this "fog" via some obscure channels back around 2023: "The fog is coming the fog is coming..." repeated incessantly over and over within single posts (like by some crazy person). Apparently, it was validated that these TikTok posts could not be completely edited in such a way as to preserve the original date stamp. It would require deleting and reposting with a current date stamp – so they say.
I don't know what to make of it really. If it wasn't for all of the external stimulus, to me, it's just fog.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned the old "fog movie" although I did hear a mention of some newer movie by Stephen King called "The Mist". "The Fog" was from 1980.
