1) I tried deciphering the code and no luck with any decryption method... not even caesar cipher.

Just looking at it, do the words King and Osiris have any meaning?

2) I got to the throne room and saw the clue. Can't figure out the pwd and I'm also looking for the hidden scarab, but can't find it. 

So, stuck for now... still scratching head.

Right, the scarab icon is hidden. Saving the page and editing the html to unhide it reveals it in my browser... exactly where you said, and it moves with the pwd box.. Unfortunately, it's not a live page, so of no use. :(

ETA: I just saw the other two posts regarding this puzzle... now I'm beginning to understand better.
