The Greys are impossible visitation

1- Big eyes no eyelashes or way to protect thier eyes from wind or flying debris not to mention the SUN - They would need special eye ware to protect thier eyes and vision.

2- Look at the skin color - suggest that they come from a darker less radiated planet large eyes also supports this .

3- Body type long slim small suggest they come from a planet with very low gravity and need suits to deal with Earths gravity just like divers .

Bottom line is they could not endure Earths atomosphere or its weather without protective gear - Greys can not be live ET's or even us from the future IF and I mean IF the greys are a actual thing they are not biological.

True, they could be an advanced interactive hologram or advanced robotics with mind control of biological aliens who would also have the ability to control the craft and the robots perhaps using quantum tunnelling.

But the greys I had contact with seemed to me to be very behave as biological beings even between themselves, but that might have seemed that way if they actually had a mind/robot connection. They would then display themselves as being genuine but it would actually be them, just engaging through a robot, if you get what I mean.

Alternatively, the black eyes could be a protective lens, they may be wearing space suits, and their skin and stature could have several explanations. One being, they are from our future world which is so poisoned and in turn we are so poisoned that that would be the color of our skin.

The big eyes and skin color could also mean they developed in a subterranean/low light environment.

My problem with the "little green men" is that as Humans, we assume aliens will be Humanoid. 2 arms, 2 legs, head, nose, mouth, eyes....basically Human, when we actually have no idea what a truly alien species would look like. They may be intelligent shrimp for all we know.

I read a book that tried to use evolutionary biology in regards to non-terrestrial life. One of the theorized "life form" was basically a living rock that sweats silica.

Some responses to your points which would explain them, if true:
1.  There are accounts of the Greys without black eyes. They peel off the black part and their eyes are large and have pupils etc underneath.  The black is just a covering, or eye protection.  This would negate the need for hair/lashes. 
2.  They are largely nonphysical, in another dimension of reality, close to the astral, etheric, or even what we would call the dead.  These bodies are created either using pure thought, or in a lab.  So there is no pigment because they are never used for longer than a few hours.
3. I think it's easier to create or print something with less mass.  They are light because they are using this matter as a suit to be able to interact in our physical dimension.

Hmm, a human trying to critique aliens. Interesting. Any view or judgement of their form and its function is likely a waste of time, because we simply don’t have the knowledge to hang it on. 

Eyes could be covered with a biological or technological lens. 

Greys could simply be biological robots engineered precisely for the planet they visit, carrying the consciousness of an alien, or merely as sort of drones. 

They could be entities from beneath the sea. Some of their biological signatures could suggest that. 

Do their forms really suggest a low gravity planet?  Possibly, but then things generally grow taller on those, you’d think.

It occurs to me that the idea of an "avatar"-like apparatus must be considered more likely than biological evolution.  Unless that evolution is so entirely different in nature... the construct is not exactly perfect for this environment and certainly not for "contact" of a personal kind with creatures of this planet.

There have been very few signs pointing to a telepathic species on this planet.. and their alleged silence speaks to some 'other' manner of coordination.  Excluding telepathy, some manner of non-verbal communication must exist... cybernetics?

Everyone seems to lean towards these creatures 'might be' tools, or vehicles, and not really the 'entities' themselves... If that could be the case... we have absolutely no way of knowing "who" we are dealing with.

Living in zero gravity for tens of thousands of years will cause morphology.  Longer limbs, thinner and smoother muscles, less mass, larger eyes, less absorbant skin.  The body will genetically adapt to fit the environment.

More recently the urban myths about the greys have included tales of their "spiritual nature" being that since they can clone new bodies and send them anywhere and use their technology to re-enter new bodies, life is not very precious to them in an individual mortality sense.  They are said to be able to store "souls" in containers like prisoners to prevent them from entering new bodies and that they visit earth to harvest such souls and drop off bad ones.
