The Art of Asking: Why do We Minimize the Help We Need?
#41
Pardon the off-topic comment:  Moderators make no rules, we moderate dialogue exchanges, as best we can.

When I respond to, or initiate any thread, it is as a member, unless I specifically state otherwise.
I was a member first, and if the circumstances make it so, even in renouncing moderator status,
I would like to think I would remain a member.  (Unless that creates ugly drama.)

PS - forgive my indiscriminate use of the word "misdirection" as it could be misinterpreted.
In my estimation you never "misdirected" anyone...

The "misdirection" to which I referred was aimed at the "flow of the dialogue" in which I suggest that
if it does not serve the topic itself, it can terminally distract from the point of the discussion (if focused upon.)

The presumption was mine.

(a glimpse into my perspective.)
