Silicon Valley’s latest argument against regulating AI: that would literally be the Antichrist

Oh greet, not only do we have AI vehicles on the roads, we will have them controlling the traffic lights.

Were they not told why white is not used in traffic lights? The railroads learned that in the 1800s. 

This will also make traffic much more congested for everyone because the lights are supposed to be timed for traffic flow. That is why almost none of the pedestrian crossing buttons are hooked up to anything. It would throw off the timing. The buttons are a distraction only in most cases.

My sons school sent an email that now the students are using AI to call their automated absence line to call in to not be in class. 

Now if my son is sick or late I have to login to a school portal and fill out a form.

In his video, he describes the construction of a new Meta data center near his home as an evil plan by billionaire tech guys like Mark Zuckerberg and corrupt politicians to control the population through technology. He also claims the project will destroy the local environment... which, isn’t far from the truth.

Funny thing is... man-made climate change is real, and the people who preach about saving the planet are usually the ones destroying the earth and building these AI data centers.  At this point, it's a slow-motion collapse... the kind you can’t look away from or do anything about it, because you know it’s already too late.

The power grid just does not have enough juice to power these.
They will have to ration power to peons like you and me, and small businesses, while the big asshatcorporations suck it all up and cause brownotus for the rest of us.
And at what purpose?

A lot of municipalities are rising up against them and making big tech look elseswhere in places like Africa.
how about just not building them?

Homesteading is no easy endeavor. And the legal implications depending on where you decide to do so and how you intend to do so can be a real pain in the pooper.
And the whole safety in numbers thing may not work as intended in this scenario. But more power to anyone that can accomplish this!

I feel like there will be a bifurcation... a split between a small segment of the population that evolves organically, and the rest that diverge into a species of hybrids and cyborgs
