It's too bad that Nagasaki and Hiroshima had to happen to end WWII, but it did.  When I lived in Japan I visited Hiroshima and went to the 'dome building' ... the skeleton left that was the library there.  I went to Peace Park and saw the memorial and the museum etc etc.  I saw the stairs in the museum that had shadows ofpeople on them, that was all that was left of the people who had been on them when the bomb  hit.  Hiroshima in 1986 when I went was a thriving very modern big city.  You'd never know that anything happened there except for the one building (the dome building) at peace park.  And of course the stories told by the survivors.

Man, Im still finding different forums... WWII was so brutal, but I can talk about it till the cows come home

I remember when I first found uncensored pics from Hiroshima and probably Nagasaki as well, I was so shocked I didn't want to look, but couldn't help. It made me regret the bomb being dropped till you see pictures from Nanking.
