Apparently certain localities have taken exception to certain sources.

It is their privilege to ascertain and restrict what you can or cannot access from your region.

I have heard it was helpful to include this note:

Please use the new imgur workaround: Click the upload button directly in the post editor (as highlighted below), select an image from your PC/Device, which will be automatically embedded into the post.

I can't guarantee this will work for everyone...

But our Super-moderator Encia22 has found that some members reported this works.

The image upload button works in conjunction with imgur, it won't work for UK based members, just as viewing imgur images is restricted/censored. There are workarounds, but members will have to research that for themselves. 

If you're in any other country that doesn't block imgur, then the only other reason it wouldn't work would be if you're in a workplace that has its own policies for what can/can't be accessed.

In that case, proof of the pudding is seeing if it works on personal mobile devices.

Don't use the usual upload feature, you need to use the button in the post editor, as highlighted in the screenshot Maxmars posted.

No need to upload, copy and paste; just select an image and it's automatically embedded in the post.

The IMGUR button just takes you to your computer to upload the image saved on your computer.... at least that's what is occurring on my old MAC
