Very curious. Governor Brown told Newsom that he had never flown on Air Force One despite being the 34 and 39th governor of California. So this was his first time and here was Newsom not yet governor taking the flight with him.
On the plane was Jared Kushner along with General John Kelly.
I'm not sure what to make of this.
Trump had wanted Ivanka to return the call from Tom Brady [he wanted to date her] but she snubbed him. When asked she told him that she loved Jared Kushner.
"This Kushner guy. I said to Ivanka, 'Not the guy whose father just got out of prison?"
Kushner responded- "Yes, sir. I know I wasn't your first choice."
"And then Trump turned to me and said, "Not even close, right Gavin? Tom Brady. Tom Brady."

All of this must have made Newsom feel very awkward.
President Trump also brought up Newsom's ex-wife Kimberley, who was dating Donald Trump Jr.

"Here we were 15 minutes into our first meeting..." Line 19
That's very similar to Albert Bourla's first line on page 3 in his thriller "Moomshot"
"I WAS IN MY FIFTEENTH month as the company's CEO. [his bold]
Line 18 he is bringing up the keyword "Joy".
President Trump then goes on to tell Newsom about a government plane, "the F-something, that was invisible. You could be flying next to it and not see it. The greatest plane you've ever seen."
It really gets weird.

When they landed at Chico Municipal Airport a team of marines with white gloves opened the door to the helicopter.
President Trump then says-
"Can you believe it? Stephen Schwarzman doesn't get this treatment." Stephen A. Schwarzman, of Yale and Harvard, member of the Skull and Bones, founder of the Davenport Ballet Society, CEO of Blackstone Group, could only dream of such service."
Stephen A. Schwarzman - Wikipedia
"In 2013, Schwarzman announced that he contributed $100 million personal gift to establish and endow a scholarship program in China, Schwarzman Scholars.
The Schwarzman Scholars program is housed at Tsinghua University. Since its inception, the program has maintain its ties to the United Front Work Department as well as other organizations and personnel affiliated with the CCP."
2020- signed the Giving Pledge.
2019 he wrote his first book "What It Takes: Lessons in the Pursuit of Excellence"

Spoiler alert- published September 17, 2019.

Marty Makary published his book "Blind Spots" September 17, 2024. Coincidence?
Just as Gavin was about to leave the helicopter General Kelly said-
"Just so you know, none of that was true."
"The commander and chief had inflated a unique feature of the plane, its 360- degree cockpit, and turned it into a flying phantom." "Those planes are not invisible."
Mind games?
