There are a number of issues that disturb me about that Grassley declassified document. Since I have Comey's book here I can compare with what he's written.

First, the comment that Comey gravitates towards Republicans and that he was planning to prolong the investigation to jeopardize the chances of Hillary Clinton winning, runs counter to how he projects himself.

He tries very hard to not appear to support either side but then highlights his wife and daughters support of Obama. Then there is that matter of his tweet supporting Biden and Harris. In the book he never once makes one remark denegrating Obama but suffers TDS on steroids.

I've read this section over and over again and I get a sense that he was being manipulated by both sides, both taking advantage of him because he is a narcissistic person who believes that his subjects are the FBI staff.

He was fully aware that there was classified information that Lynch had influenced the Midyear team investigation into the Clinton emails. He even writes about this, although not revealing exactly what. At least now I can connect a name- Amanda Renteria.

"Amanda Renteria, the political director for the Hillary Staff, regularly receives information from Attorney General Loretta Lynch on the plans and intentions of the FBI." 

The Midyear team had access to hundreds of thousands of Clinton emails, so this phrase makes me wonder - "The FBI does not possess any kind of direct evidence against Clinton, because of the timely deletion from email servers."

Something that has bothered me is that the FBI tech team were able to remove duplicate emails to whittle down the number that the Midyear team had to read , because if left as it was, they never could have completed that task by the election. It could be possible that some very critical email chains may have been removed, because even Comey was surprised that they were able to accomplish that.


Now I did read in his book that there were issues with decommissioned servers- so does that mean there may be many more serious Top Secret  email chains that could cause serious damage to national security and we have no idea how many and what they are? 

The last section fits Comey to a T- he simply doesn't investigate more fully certain issues because he doesn't want to know. 

The FBI had all  kinds of evidence but decided that the big issue was what she was thinking, rather than making the issue about was or was there not Top Secret information that could harm the U.S. in her emails.

I may have figured out the meaning of the color of the book bindings. I can hear the collective groan.

Melinda's  first book had a Yellow book binding or it could be considered [G]old.
Her second book had a [W]hite book binding.

Billy's second book was [B]lack.

GWB- George W. Bush. The start.

Comey's book binding is silver<> Melinda's is gold.

Now there are a number that have the same shade of [B]lue, which would represent the Dems but could also be-
