MINNESOTA CONGRESSMAN WARNED ABOUT SOMALI DAYCARE FRAUD... ALMOST A DECADE AGO

The $9+ billion fraud everyone is talking about today?

They knew about it years ago.

Former Minnesota Rep. Jason Lewis was blowing the whistle on Somali daycare fraud in his home state when the problem was still in the hundreds of millions, not billions.

His warning on the record:

"In my home state of Minnesota, where we've got a number of daycare providers that are openly violating federal and state laws and regulations, taking money for personal use, using the money to set up a fraudulent childcare client, and then providing a kickback has been reported.

You've got 23 childcare or daycare centers either closed or under investigation.

The fraud may go as high as $100 million.

Think about that. In fiscal year 2018, Minnesota received $120 million in federal funding.

The state contributed about $50 million in matching and maintenance funds.

And we may have a fraud case of nearly $100 million in this state.

With money then being transferred out of the country via MSP Airport."

Lewis asked federal officials what they were doing to investigate and whether stricter enforcement could be implemented to monitor states receiving these funds.

That was nearly a decade ago.

The fraud was $100 million then.

23 centers under investigation.

Nobody listened. Nobody acted.

Now it's $9 billion, 98 people charged, and federal agents raiding businesses across the state.

The warnings were there. The receipts existed.

They let it happen anyway.

because Democrats are involved and it’s a trade off for the entire Somalian community’s votes

You've got videos that he put up where basically Somalian parents go in with their children, check them in, get an envelope for cash and leave, right? So they just keep stealing the money in perpetuity and why not? Now, here's why it's not going to stop

You have to understand the way the Democrats look at this, not like we do.

These are their future voters. They need illegals in here voting. This is the only way they stay in power.

It would seem to me that there are still some unsub co-conspirators being so transparent could spook them.
until they recover the money and map out the money trail to specific Democrats feels like many are slipping through the cracks, especially since the Minnesota government police and DA seem complicit
