This is a company offering power solutions to the world. I did hours of research months ago before buying it at $26 per share.

You have to be very careful investing in stocks, the market goes up and down.

(NYSE: SEI) is a publicly traded company that provides equipment-based solutions for the energy industry, primarily focusing on oil and gas well completion and distributed power generation for various sectors, including data centers.

Interesting.  Thanks for sharing.

I tend to take a "futurist" outlook on my investing.  Try to identify industries, trends and directions that might be around for awhile and may have some massive growth.
Datacenters and NOCs are popping up Everywhere.  There's a lot of players with a hand in there if you look at computing, memory, storage and infrastructure companies involved and so far they've been doing very well for me but it's a volitile industry.
Analyst "sentiment" has a LOT to do with a stock's price.  Release a tainted forecast or question anything regarding profitability can send a stock spiraling or soaring.
I don't like that aspect.
You also have these "Rockstar" investors and commentators that can influence the price of a share simply by posting a video.
I don't like that aspect.
The term "bubble" now gets invoked like some temporary curse on an industry if someone things valuation is too high, often leading to panic among investors and speculators alike.
I don't like that aspect.

Keeping it safe and balance is my MO.  I have a bunch of big tech (NVidia, AMD, Western Digital, Broadcomm) along with more stable holdings like BerkshireHathaway, GE, Alphabet etc.  Minerals and commodity are in the back pocket as well.

Happy to see at least that after a few years of WTF, things are starting to move in the right direction but looking ahead, I'm optimistic.
I (personal opinion) am wary regarding this huge push to build as many datacenters to address the growing demands for AI etc.

Tech is every growing, ever evolving.  Things get smaller and more efficient.  That 100k sq ft datacenter that fed the system 10 years ago will eventually run in someone's basement (wild example)

Quantum computing is interesting to me.  I don't see that going away anytime soon and have opted to try to make some gains there.

Those stories of "this street beggar was given 2 shares of stock XYZ 10 years ago and just retired a zillionaire" have always hit, lol.  I want to be that guy.  Not the beggar, the zillionaire lol

@Raptured

I was swing trading SEI. After figuring out the taxes from my first purchase price it comes out the same so I wasted time swing trading lol!

I always research before I buy. Yes Quantum computing is amazing.

I live near Detroit, Ford, GM and Chrysler have their main offices here. They just opened 3 big data centers in outlying areas and are getting approval for more. It’s a big thing around the world.

Check out Applied Digital! I bought this one a year ago.

Thank you for your info!
