All this sweet nostalgia brought back some other suppressed memories…
One that I’ve never seen outside of the UK; Cadbury Creme Egg. It’s all sugar and really tastes of nothing, but sugar… even the choc is pretty crap. However, it was a battle of wits to try and eat it without getting ‘egg’ on your face, hands, basically, everywhere… superglue can’t hold a candle to it.
The second one, everyone’s favourite and probably healthier than everything that’s been posted so far.
The biggest dilemma… Toffee or Red Candy?
I always preferred the Red Candy… if you have to ask why, just look left.
Really, I preferred the ones my mum would make with those make-at-home kits because she knew I was partial to Granny Smith apples, whilst, those at outdoor events always employed red apples, good, but missed the mark on tang & crunch.
