This skit was hilarious.
John going on about how Elmo got hacked.
And Klepper going on about Trump's uncle ""fantasy"" about Ted Kaczynski.
WARNING: A little bit of profanity included, viewer discretion, and all that jazz.

Ted Kaczynski?
Well now, there's a name people should pay more attention to. Especially those interested in MKUltra.

I totally agree.
But in this instance, Trump claimed that his late uncle John Trump, a former MIT professor, taught Ted Kaczynski at MIT.
Saying Kaczynski was "one of his students" and recalling his uncle describing him as "seriously good" at correcting others.
Which is impossible, considering Kaczynski never attended MIT.
He went to Harvard.
And John G. Trump died in 1985, years before Kaczynski was ever identified as the Unabomber.
That's quite the elaborate fantasy to form in one's mind.

Which Trump are you saying made it up or misremembered this, Donald or his uncle John? It could be just a family story passed through others and misheard, misremembered along the way.
I know too much and question everything.
Does anyone know the minimum safe distance of ignorance?
Did anyone ask the monkeys how much fun the barrel actually was?

It's possible that Trump got confused by his uncle and misremembered. Kaczynski did go to the University of Michigan. Michigan in abbreviated as MI, so it's not to far of a stretch to misremember MI as MIT.

""Misremembered""
Ok but Michigan shortened to "MI" is the post code.
As far as im aware people don't usually refer to universities like that.
They'd say "University of Michigan" or just "Michigan" not "MI."
MIT is completely different. It's world-renowned, and you wouldn't easily mix it up.
Plus, Trump didn't just confuse the name, he claimed his uncle actually taught Kaczynski and remembered specific things about him.
That's a detailed story, not a small slip.
The thing is, Trump's uncle died in 1985, and Kaczynski wasn't even known as the Unabomber until 1996.
So there's no way he could've said those things about him.
And MIT confirmed Kaczynski never studied there.
So even if Trump muddled a few letters, the dates and facts just don't match up.
It's not a simple mix it up, it's a story that falls apart the second you check it properly.

It was Donald Trump who made the claim about his uncle(John Trump).
If you watch the video he said his uncle taught Ted Kaczynski at MIT and remembered him as "seriously good."
How could that be possible if John Trump died in 1985, long before Kaczynski was identified as the Unabomber?
Meaning he couldn't have known anything about him.
Also, Kaczynski never attended MIT, he went to Harvard and the University of Michigan.
Even if it were a family story, the timeline and facts don't add up.
There's no way this could've been passed down accurately.
It’s either a fabrication or a serious confusion on Donald's part.

Cheers for the input.
Yeah, I've listened a few times.
Completely impossible claims.
With the severe kicker being Trump's uncle died years before Kaczynski was ever unmasked.
It's a strangely detailed story with no basis in fact, making it one of Trump's more bizarre and baseless inventions.
Additionally, at the end of the video, Karoline Leavitt does not answer the question posed by the reporter(0:38), or anything reminiscent of the sort, before she runs for the hills.
