sigh. can't just let the stew simmer, gotta stir it too.
No'no, stir away, i want to know what the pair have been charged with also.
I'm betting both groups have been fighting in the park, and the result is the guy filming the aftermath.
And it's a counter assault charge down to further witness statements, but that's just speculating.
Still need to know where and when the girl got the hatchet and knife, all the same.
Again, through, there will be lots of witness statements and CCTV evidence we are not privy to.
Maybe they got the weapons from somewhere other than the house?
And that's how the parents did not fathom or catch on right away as to what was happening?

It is a really sad and dangerous world we are living in, and I am protective of children, I really wish our governments were too!
I can identify with that, having an 18-year-old girl going to university in the city every day and a 12-year-old boy at secondary school.
Lots of daft, silly knife crimes, and other madness are happening in his school, with the likes of weapons and gangs involved.
And he's a good boy as well as opposed to the filthy little animal i was in school.
And Glasgow town centre is just nuts most days of the week and extra special crispy on the weekend(Dundee is not any better).
At the end of the day, we can't let them carry murder weapons, because the kids kill and mame one another with them for sport.
And it's all fun and games until some poor parent has to go to the morgue to identify their kid's body.
Or you're watching your pal's lifeblood leak out on the floor.

andy06shake, I get where you are coming from. However, sometimes a show of force can save you.
i was once coming home from a weekend in NH with my sister. It was very late/early morning approx 1:00am. She got called to work to we had to go home. We pull into a rest area in the middle of nowhere. It’s raining, there is nobody around for at least 29 miles. My sister has to go to the bathroom. There is no public restroom, only the woods.
As she’s going to the bathroom, a car backs up tgat was parked way off to the right, we hadn’t even seen the car before. He literally pulls up 2 inches from the passengers door where I’m sitting. He’s just staring at me. I blow the horn , put down the window and scream for my sister to get back here now, that there is a guy in a car right next to us.
hes just staring, so I thankfully had a knife. I pull it out look over at him and do a motion line I’ll slit your throat as dges walking back toward the car. He immediately after that starts his car and drives back toward the his original spot. Luckily he didn’t follow us. Sometimes you gotta show no fear.
As far as kids go, I’ve seen so many young men get jumped by their so called friends and end up with serious head trauma from shod foot that it makes me sick. I have a coworker whose son recently went to a party with an old friend, he is a sweet kid tgat I know of. He ended up having brain surgery to remove a piece of his skull to relieve tge swelling of his brain. His friends beat him almost to death. They broke his jaw, he flatlined twice and after numerous lung infections and brain surgery and rehab he’s finally home. His closest friend (who admitted to only kicking him in the head once, his father is a police officer). It was an unprovoked attack. Charges are being filed and a lawsuit will be coming for the hundreds of thousands in medical bills.
The real problem imo is number one: Crimes are not prosecuted properly anymore.
Then yiu throw in gang culture, no jobs (idle hands do the work if the devil). Import third world countries with extremely different world views and there are going to be problems after problems.
This girl imo was afraid, sick of this dudes sh#t, pissed because her friend was attacked. She didn’t pull out the weapons until he kept coming up to her, at least in the video I saw.
I really appreciate President Donald Trump getting serious on crime. I feel sorry for the UK, their leaders are the worst!
In tune

A show of force can also put you in jail.
Same as carrying offensive weapons.
Additionally, i would take any of our leaders over the likes of Trump over the last 100 years, but i digress.
And cheers for the misplaced sympathy.
We will be fine, after all, we have been around since the 4th or 5th century AD in one form or another.
Let's, just wait and see what materialises since both parties have been charged, im sure it will all come out in the wash.
On that note, past my bedtime.
I bid ye all fair evening for the time being.

The person doesn’t get it. An adult that wants to use slurs against a teenage girl because they don’t understand living in a high crime area where it’s better to be tough than be taken advantage of and violated.
I’m not sure if little Andy is male. But they seem threatened by little girls carrying a kitchen knife and a hatchet to label them “murderous weapons” when they weren’t use in an actual murder. Seems like little Andy is a classic mansplainer whatever their gender.
I’m glad you have real tenacity that Andy will never understand.

I understand the law of the land.
You're the one who seems to have issues accepting reality and facts.
And now, somehow seem to be encouraging or justifying children carrying weapons, which is strictly against our laws.
As to what you are, i dont really care to speculate, suffice to say that it appears you are incapable of comprehending there are other places around the globe with laws and culture that are not your own.
Anyhoo, at least the murder weapons are off the street and no longer in the hands of little neds.
Result, and police seem to be doing their job for once, and in both directions, no less.
Have a nice day.

People have to sharpen sticks to protect themselves in the jungle to protect themselves from four legged predators. Why not two legged predators in the urban jungle?
like discussed by numerous people, the real monster is humanity.
How about laws that target and empower law enforcement to go after actual predators instead of worrying if an innocent person has a kitchen knife.
I would say an adult using slurs against children is predatory.

You say lots of things, the majority being complete tripe.
Scotland is not a jungle, and the law of the land applies here.
Not your stupid anecdotes and obsessions with kids carrying weapons.
Just a fact.
And a fact you and the neds, will have to accept and deal with, should you/they decide to break our laws.
Same with anybody else.
Next.

Hopefully they find a nice garden shed and kitchen knife block for them. I do like to think we can rehabilitate these evil murder weapons, rather than locking them up for the rest of their useful lives. It's really is best for society that way, much as the wrathful public would like to see them melted down.
