Hello DI!
An article was published in the liberal Russian publication "Gazeta.ru" "Russian military practiced delivering a massive nuclear strike", which says...
Quote:" Defense Minister Andrei Belousov reported to President Vladimir Putin that during the training, the military practiced delivering a massive nuclear strike. This follows from a video published by the press service of the Defense Ministry.
"Under your leadership, training is being conducted to control the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation," the head of the department noted.
Belousov drew attention to the fact that they are practicing delivering a strike with strategic nuclear forces in response to a nuclear strike by an enemy.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the military personnel completed all assigned tasks in full, all missiles reached their targets.
The department noted that as part of the training, Sineva and Bulava missiles were launched, as well as a Yars intercontinental ballistic missile was launched. Long-range aircraft Tu-95MS took part in the maneuvers.
On October 23, Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov said that Russian specialists, when creating new weapons, take into account the identified vulnerabilities of captured equipment from NATO member countries.
Earlier, Putin explained that this is an extreme measure to ensure security for the Russian Federation."
Yes, of course, no one wants this. But is Russia ready to use nuclear weapons against countries that will commit aggression against Russia with their weapons, according to the new nuclear concept of Russia, which was voiced by Putin and adopted by the Russian parliament? Tensions are growing. Is the West ready to sacrifice itself for the sake of illusory propaganda goals in Ukraine? Are you personally ready?
Thank you.

What's the use of having a weapon if you can't play with it and imagine using it for real? In fact, perhaps it would be irresponsible not to. Everyone needs to keep in practice, and make sure their equipment is ready at a moments notice.
...
It is posturing, yes, but it is also part of international relations, these "military games" and preparedness exercises. It evokes opportunity to frame a response. What would Putin like to hear?

You just don't get it. Russia, according to the new military concept adopted by the parliament and approved by the president, can launch a nuclear strike on those countries whose weapons were used against Russian territory. This is a conceptual decision. That is, if a missile made in Germany, France, Britain or the USA flies to Russian territory, Russia can respond with a nuclear strike on the territory of these countries. This is the new Russian law.

Hello RT
I take the entire topic of nuclear war very seriously.
I also know that there are many forms of illusory propaganda.
Am I ready? Honestly, no, I'm not ready.
But it seems to me that there is no such thing as "being ready" for a nuclear conflict, that question doesn't appear sincere.
Nuclear weapons, in order to be an effective asset, must ALWAYS be ready for use; otherwise they are only a waste of resources.
If they are ready for use, the threat posed by Putin's statement has been standing all along, nothing has really changed.
The object of evoking fear is to make the 'constant threat' mean something right now. But it is always "right now" as far as nuclear weapons are concerned.
I get what is intended... waving the weapon and calling attention to your ability to use it at your whim... does Putin think that we had "forgotten?" At least on my part, I never did.
The Russia/Ukraine conflict has been usurped of international attention recently...
could it be that we want to call attention to the conflict in Ukraine?
No judgement, I get it.
Respectfully, no world leader should be oblivious to the fact that detonating nuclear weapons in war is a tipping point after which there is no "winner," only a world full of losers... Why is Ukraine worth that?

Come back in 9 days.
We're too neurotic as a country with an election to worry about Russia and nukes right now. That's so 80s anyway. Just don't enable Tehren to further nuclear ambitions and it should work out in the end.
Also, haven't you heard?
Trump's gonna fix it all if they don't fix the election against him.
He's gonna fix everything and make it great again! He's gonna fix the immigrants and the ecomony too!
And he's gonna do it all in ONE DAY!
He'll end your war with Ukraine over the phone. He promised he'd do it before he takes the oath and everything.
I think you might be jumping the gun a bit. Let's see if he can't broker a peace deal when he resumes Presidentin' duties before you start trying to undo the winds of change.

Hello, my friend. Of course, no one wants to use nuclear weapons. But the new Russian nuclear concept allows for their use in response to NATO using missiles against Russia by Ukraine. This already exists and is ready for use. This is reality. As soon as Ukraine launches missiles on Russian territory, there will be a nuclear response against the countries that produce these missiles. No one wants this. But if this happens, NATO countries must know about the response.
This is war, it happens....

I was just thinking of those cold and lonely soldiers, manning their missile posts, wondering if its all for nothing. Yearning for some use, some purpose. It must be hard. Really hard.
I imagine they see these exercises as fun.
...
Yes I'm familiar with that policy change; I read Putin's speech and the Q&A session at the BRICS conference the other week. And certainly it is interesting to see the difference in the UK and USA response. But I'm wondering what it really changes. I can't imagine a scenarios where anyone says "gee we were going to launch a retaliatory strike, but since they acted in accord with russian law and stated policy, i guess we have to let it slide".
We get it; Putin's staunch.

Well, I am not Putin, and I am not the Russian Security Council. I do not know. But such a possibility exists, and it is real, very real.

Привет! Я не питаю иллюзий насчет президентства Тампа. Он уже был президентом, и напряжение против России со стороны Украины только нарастало. Но ожидания есть. Но Россия готова к любому сценарию.
