There could be a "waive all rights to appeal" plea deal if the prosecution believes they cant get a unanimous death sentence... in Utah.

And then there are appeals. You can absolutely predict guilty, but not the death penalty yet.

I am guessing 10/12 on the jury will agree with you...  BUT*

I mistakenly thought Utah was closer to Texas than a moratorium state. They have not handed down a death penalty sought by prosecution in 15 years.  So expect life/no parole/no appeal, or pray at the wailing burrow for 12 Jurors to uphold the death penalty.

Again, I repeat, there are too many discrepancies with the evidence that I think a trial is absolutely necessary to prove 'beyond a reasonable doubt' that they have the right murder weapon and then therefore the right murderer.
