As a long term Paramedic I have seen numerous patients from their initial diagnosis to their end stage. It’s indeed a terrible disease process and if sildenafil can reduce the chances of acquiring it then why not?
PDE Inhibitors, like many other types of drugs are usually found to be useful and effective in helping treat other illnesses and issues.
Some antidepressants aid in smoking cessation treatment for example.
Hopefully this treatment becomes successful and they can start working on other processes like ALS, MS, etc.
