Real great line if you see someone vandalizing a Tesla

"You're mixed up.  He's your friend."

Sorry, Elon, but you seem to the layman to be trying to start a party just to be disruptive and split the vote.  So your time with DOGE is not just an embarrassment that we shouldn't gossip about.  But that's not the point of this thread.

The guy with the rock star baby mama said he was going to revolutionize government waste by cutting trillions, then cuts a billion or two and calls it quits.

DOGE promised it would save $2 trillion.  Then Musk calls it quits and DOGE says it only managed to save $105 billion.

Then, a Wall Street Journal analysis I just googled up claimed the actual savings is going to be around $2.6 billion.  https://www.bing.com/ck/a?!&&p=e51a71477...ZTZh&ntb=1

So now, pork proponents can say projections were off on the order of 76923%, but the department is still overclaiming by 4038%, which they are sure to say impeaches the whole concept of cutting waste, even if they don't behave disruptively to ensure the trimmed-back departments look worse than they are.

How likely is it that a billionaire businessman's projections would be so far off?

Has he had a stroke or a nervous breakdown?

The fascist salute may be part of the same game.  He may have revealed the face he chose to put on to color himself MAGA before he came to his senses.

It may all have been carefully planned.

I think Elon Musk has always had, or at least for a very long time, has always had his own agenda.  Part of the vision of Tesla is probably a big part of that overall vision he has.  He saw Trump as a way to further propagate his vision and ideals, but as soon as Trump crossed him, particularly for cutting the Green Tax stuff etc and so on, Musk knew then, for certain, that Trump would not go through with Musk's agenda and ideals.

So now he is using his acquisition of X/Twitter to further his agenda, and the pursuit, apparently, of a new American political party.  I know I have seen Musk state that politics is like the new religion, because moderns don't have religion so much anymore, and that politics (particularly the Left, in Musk's view at the time) has overtaken the religious impulse now.

I thought the filing of a new political party was misinformation and Musk himself denied it?
