Thanksgiving Story…

It’s another year for amazing dried out Turkey, 
Nope this is the year for Beef Jerky, 
It’s a year of change to rearrange, 
The dog will never be locked in a cage, 

The guests arrived, 
They will be deprived, 

They drank all my wine 
Lips smacking for the Devine, 

Looking for beets, 
Little did they know they will have meats, 

The salad was passed around, 
I could not wait for the frown, 

Everyone was acting quirky, 
Waiting for that turkey, 

Hours went by, 
They started to cry, 

They asked if this was a hen party, 
I said nope as I served them beef jerky, 

They were pissed, 
I removed them from my list, 

I kicked them out just in time, 
My Turkey was served even with brine, 
Guess what? It’s all mine…
