It was only a matter of time before someone like a New York State Assemblyman went to the same privileged high school and decided to put a stop to her hard knocks claims. It's easy to want to call people out for their bullshit when they say enough crazy shit. Or at least it usually is. 

You could sorta tell it was a politically exaggerated. It kept getting more impoverished every time they repeated her backstory.

It is kinda like in 8 mile when Eminem calls out the kid from Rochester Hills, or the movie CB4.

Well... she is in the Top 6.

But Vance is +250, and she's tied with Newsom at +1000, next best is Shapiro at 1400, which are the best 3 odds for a Democrat. Though democrat odds are shortening with republicans are growing, and may continue that way after tariffs and health cuts sink in. 

I still don't see AOC beating out a Newsom or Shapiro for the DNC nod, unless they really want to commit party suicide.

There already is a centrist party ... the Libertarians.   This past election they ran a far left LGBTQ warrior, but the party platform is, and always has been, common sense center.   Musk could get involved with the Libertarians and bolster it and straighten out their candidate choices.   That would make more sense than starting a whole new party.

Yes true saying "Israel is a war crime state" is not really a great platform, because then they'll just blame Netanyahu or some such, "no it's all Bibi's fault!"; perhaps we should take a lead from our intelligence community:
