Ontological shock from looking to closely at the sun and finding religion, there is allot of "science" that helps to push people along.  I don't think this is Ellon, or I don't know why he's breeding like a rabbit if he thinks the end of the world is around the corner. "Digital ID / Digital Currency system" has to be World ID. Sam Altman's project. I wouldn't be surprised to see Elon acquire that at some point. Even by force.
