Had a thought.
It's been quite awhile since "silent helicopters" were mentioned altho IIRC those were mostly in connection with livestock mutilations. All choppers aren't chinook sized. The constant insistence that no one go Rambo on these craft is also telling. Reconfigure some lights, fly well under the normal flight ceiling an it's easy to see that people would flip right out.

We're also at the point people are seeing Orbs as well as what everyone else is calling Drones which is just muddying the water. 

Also kudo's to everyone who's taken video of helicopters and had the decency to admit it. Those YT's cracked me up! Used to be everyone moaned & lamented that people never looked up from their phones, now people are looking up and we expect them to know what they're looking at? Seriously?? They're trying, cut them some slack.

All that said. 
On recent very predawn AM got to see one of what I can only assume was one of those drones. 
Same light config, no noise, flew right above the tree tops right over my vehicle. Slight whirring noise but only as it was directly over me. Because of deer waiting at that stop sign is routine & mandatory. It's a crossing point for them.

Looking directly up at it's undercarriage, in hindsight, it very well could have been a VERY small two seater skinny helicopter or a very large skinny bowling pin thingy. Two weird things. At first it crossed the valley directly at me & had a typical white light, one green one red on either side. I "thought" it'd turned away cause then I saw a blue light flanked by the red & green lights. Couldn't exactly fathom why it was still headed right at me backwards? 
Regardless I stayed put due to the high strangeness "feel". Got two very crappy pics of it coming at me, showed them to a guy who's in a Drone Club, reluctantly, cause to me they really were junk. His response shocked me. He was adamant it was flying shockingly low, an insisted it had to be commercial cause of it's size. 

Whatever. What showed up on my phone wasn't what I saw with my eyes. I can't explain it. A couple of other guys the next day at work said they'd seen the same type thing flying one county over where they live. Since there wasn't any news coverage of other reports we all remain just puzzled. 

And why YES! I've managed to get some great footage of helicopters after dark since then. 
Which is why those YT's amused me so much. Still think whatever these are they are definately man-made an someones having a fine time screwing around!
