This is interesting. Perhaps the result of GPS spoofing, changing the perceived time zone? Similar things were reported happening outside Mossad headquarters in Tel Aviv, if I recall correctly, the GPS suddenly appeared to show them hundreds of miles away.
The report from the Governor about the disappearing as soon as they "got eyes" on them is also curious. I wonder if he's talking passive optics or some active system? Detecting the former would be very impressive!
