"they just don't get it" they especially don't get why old Joe get's allot of views, why is this trending? Those statements, after a while I start thinking to myself, I only ever hear you say bad things about others, why do I never hear good news from you?

Some old baller watched youtube the first time in his life and is now getting hate.  I wander what Joe clip they showed him?

Here's what I think is going on.

Left media sold out for their belief in "the process" of journalistic integrity. Which lost its mind over fact checked narratives and an obsession with the right's use of things out of context. And using their own somewhat bias standard to determine as much.

This guy is scoffing at the influence of "alternative media" (which leans heavy right) and is more in denial of the writing on the wall.  They got left behind in pop culture terms. One party can use viral culture, the other is painful to watch try.  One feels authentic, the other feels plastic.

The left media is Kodak saying, "Digital cameras will never replace film" and then playing a futile game of catch up. And I guess the democrat party is like Rochester, NY.

Let's use a popular idea during the last month of the campaign... after the debate in which left-leaning media (and even some right media) concluded Harris won overwhelmingly.

"Immigrants are eating people pets"

With focus on Haitians.

It was either preposterous or gospel truth. Media either mocked and fact checked it, or tried to find evidence, that was often taken out of context, which then was fact checked again.

Joe leans towards the "often out of context" end and is willing to touch the topics the left won't for their process, bias, and belief of integrity.

Where's the truth?

This REALLY DID happen In Ohio.

⚠️ ** DISTURBING CONTENT WARNING ** ⚠️

If only Allexis Ferrell was actually a Haitian immigrant, this might have got more than 3500 views and stood as evidence to Trump's claims.  Didn't need it though.

Even if showing this clip could discredit the immigrants eating pets claim because she was American born, it wouldn't.  It just feels like Haitian culture. Like a foreign sacrificial voodoo thing happening.  A walking zombie of possession by demon spirits. Maybe even possessed by Alf. Even Catatonic Schizophrenia is not an immediate thought.

One media would show it and spread it *if* she was foreign and one media wouldn't show it regardless.

Glad you fixed the link the thought of Audra eating a cat on stage was somewhat disturbing. Preserved in quote for posterity.

I am still trying to figure out this thread's title "Neuron Activation"? Puzzled

Back to Mr Williams... fun quote from him:

Quote:The ABC boss had described Mr Rogan as a “deeply repulsive” figure who took advantage of “people’s vulnerabilities”....

“I think that people like Mr Rogan prey on people’s vulnerabilities. They prey on fear. They prey on anxiety. They prey on all of the elements that contribute to uncertainty in society, and they entrepreneur fantasy outcomes and conspiracy outcomes.

and

Quote:“Where is this super sensitivity deriving from? You make a comment in response to a legitimate question from a journalist. You answer it concisely and give an honest answer in terms of what your own perception of Mr Rogan is. And suddenly I get this huge pile-on from people in the most aggressive way, saying that I have a warped out look on the world, that I am an embarrassment to our nation, that I am in some way unhinged, that that I am a supreme example of of of arrogance and disconnection with Australian society.

“I have to say to you, Raf, I just don’t get it.”

It is especially fun when he admits that he just doesn't get it, and everyone is saying he's arrogant and disconnected, then he speculates that it must be because they're all glass-jawed brainwashed snowflakes or something. Lovely.

I love the smell of irony and projection in the morning.

Well okay he's just doing his job.

Look you can see the future in the map of razorscraped redveins on his cheek:

i am thinking of things like the video in the op as a pinball machine, with two bumpers left and right bouncing the topic around with projection and reflection and finger pointing. bewildering chaos. my point about the overton window was that yes the contrast of the caricatures of stodgy-government-rearguard and the foxnews-vileright-hottie is a false one, because both of them see the audience as a commodity or a market to be entertained or informed according to their standards. they externalize people. much of the audience has tired of their pinball game and has wandered off to take a walk in the woods and they're still trying to make a newer shinier machine to bring them back into the arcade. maybe the get it and maybe they dont but they really can't ever admit it if they do because it would invalidate their business model and the games they make their living off, and thats fine because everyone needs some anchor of self-definition, but demanding that others remain chained to their old paradigms seems somewhat laughable.

looking to abc or sky for truth or trust is like asking a loanshark for financial advice.

it is like people who look for illumination or an escape from the mirrormaze by way of internet rants. they just don't get it. Smile

My neurons are activating again. The contrasts was pretty striking and bizarre coming out of sky news, they just don't get it ja

IdeomotorPrisoner we normally post warning on local groups here when pets go missing.  It happens in waves, best get used to it.  Still don't have enough neurons to quote properly sorry
