My art…

Made this a couple of weeks ago. It’s made out of birch bark. I only use fallen birch trees for my art.

Peel the birch and soak it in hot soapy salt water for a day! It’s brings out beautiful colors and makes its layers peel easy.

Have been doing art for 20 years! It’s a passion I have.

I recall you were a bit 'stuck' for a glue solution... any luck finding something that works?

I found the spray on glue with the mixture and thank you it works amazing!

I am working on a 3 foot by 5 foot new one!

It's quite innovative. I can't imagine having to get a bunch of those strips the same size and length like that – it must be somewhat difficult and very time consuming.

And now I seem to be having some vague recollection of seeing this birch bark peeling off naturally in this way, and even peeling off a strip or two myself for whatever reason.
