Triple black. I am excited, to say the least. Hoping for any advice / recommendations. This will be a new adventure for me in street biking. Only done off road in the past. I've been gobbling up any decently priced gear I can. I take this puppy on my first road-trip in June. Heading north out of the heat of AZ.
We should race! lol!

Your new bike looks amazing!

I've had a few, most recent was a 2001 Honda CBR 1100XX which honestly was a beast.  When I move back to the U.S. for 100% I'm looking into getting a new bike.  Either a Kawaski Z1000, or the ZH2 all depending.

So just curious who else here are fellow bikers?  What do you ride?

Congrats on getting that. :)  I don't currently ride, but owned and rode a Suzuki Bandit 1200, very heavy as well. Had it for 6 years. 1200's have a ton of scary power. Not anywhere near as nimble in turns and getting out of situations as smaller bikes. Additional advice I have as you get riding it and get used to it, it's easy to get more daring, so caution on that of course.

It's easy to  (over time) lose some of the extra caution you will have at first, because you get very good at riding it, so that is not completely good if you don't continue the same vigilance for your safety that you'll be exercising now. :)  I let a friend try that bike and he layed it down in gravel within 3 minutes LOL.. Scratched the crankcase a bit and broke a turn signal.. I didn't have a lot of hindsight then..

Cheers!

Some nice bikes in here!  My most recent and now sold bike was a 2001 Honda CBR 1100XX.  Almost killed myself on it more than once haha.  Currently I'm wheel-less but am looking to buy a new bike when I get back to the U.S. for 100%.  Either a Kawasaki Z1000 or possibly the ZH2.

But I'll honestly be happy with anything I end up getting, even the dreaded KLR 650  Lol  I do like the dual sports though, but hear the KLR struggles at highway speeds.

Just got a new stack hat, Shark evo, nice modular, great if you wear specs and so quiet when you are riding ( it’s a good thing for me)

worn one for a few years and really liked the features, upgrade

A KLR 650 is my current bike. It was home for a couple of years traveling around Australia. Handled more like a bus with so much weight on it. A lot cheaper on fuel.

First bike was a XL250, until that died when a motorcycle courier. A Virago 250 was next, a good comfortable ride.

If it’s hot, wet and sticky and it’s not yours, don’t touch it!

Oops, well…

Everyone meet Greta! She’s very loud and obnoxious, ( may have to tone her down).

I’m pretty amazed because I don’t usually buy the first one I see, but it ticket off all the boxes. I have never had a “Softail” before (if you’re familiar with the thread, Molly is up there).

I was thinking Garbo, but my brother said “Thunberg?” And I have to say that it fits her perfectly! Ha! Looking forward to the next few days!!!

And, Quantum, she’s around 100lbs lighter than Molly! Almost agile!!! Ha!

I’ll take pics when I put the bags on and ride a bit.

Hasta luego! Yes I’m still working on my Español…

Be careful out there, Haven't owned a motorcycle since the mid seventies, and back then, drivers often pulled out in front of you or cut you off because they did not see you.  I kind of quit riding because of too many close calls.  Now it is even worse, people are distracted.  So be careful out there when riding.
