LA is good example of competing beliefs.

The incumbent mayor Karen Bass and her top democrat challenger support treatment over prison. With the type of policies seen in Europe and Austrailia.

But The Independent (yet MAGA adjacent) TV star candidate says: 

"Treatment first. I will go below the Harbor Freeway tomorrow with her and we can find some of these people she's0 gonna offer treatment for. She's gonna get stabbed in the neck. These people do not want a bed. They want fentanyl or super meth."

And he might be right and only left out the part where they call themselves Ezekiel and scream unintelligible obscenities at imaginary things.

But when there is hope beyond Thorazine/Haldol/Seroquel injections I prefer an offer they cant refuse,

"You'll either be in jail or a detox bed by the end of the day. Youre choice. And if you fuck up the one you go to the other anyway."

And thats just because im sick of seeing them smoke meth on the sidewalk in broad daylight because they recieve the "too far gone" exemption.

I know its cold, but the most loyal cartel customer base can think of nothing else than building up more Narco-reward points.

Not that I want to watch the video's you posted links to, but the fact that one is commentary on what Trumb said, I'm fairly sure it's an obvious lie.

Trumb isn't an authority on anything, and he famously repeats stuff he has seen on far-right conspiracy forums without any sort of critical evaluation. Add to that, he makes up stuff and attacks if he feels that someone is possibly not totally on his side (he even does it to those who are his closest allies, when he doesn't understand what they say - everyone must repeat his exact words or they are enemies).
