If you could have dinner with anyone (still living) in the world ... who would it be?
Why that person?  What would you talk about?   
Where would you have dinner?   What would you have?



If I could have dinner with anyone in the world I would chose the Dalai Lama.  
I am always wondering what is correct when it comes to religion or 'reason we are here' kind of thing.
I would ask him why he thinks Buddhism is correct, and ask him about the Buddhist 
reincarnation beliefs and the Buddhist belief in the 'afterlife'.

I would have dinner with him in his monastery and have whatever they usually have.
I would imagine some veggie thing .. rice and a veggie ...
but no gluten .... I can't have gluten.

I don't idolize the Dalai Lama and am disturbed by the 'tongue sucking' controversy
that erupted a year or two ago (I forgot when), when a young boy came to him and
he said to him 'suck my tongue' in front of people.   So I do remember that and I 
do not fully believe his excuse that it was a poor joke.   But he's the one who knows
Buddhism and I'd like to know why he thinks it's accurate when it comes to why we
are here.

So many easy ones but I'm tapped out on politics so forget the world leaders or religious figureheads.  Maybe for something different I'll say this...

I'd like to have dinner with a former ATS poster called Astr0.  Anyone remember him?  (Assuming it's a him).  Or know of his whereabouts?  For those who don't remember him, he claimed to be part of a crew on a black triangle.  Details of his exploits were like something out of a sci-fi novel but I also remember one of the mods stepping into his threads and warning folks not to flame him.  The reason being that he was 100% accurate in when/where black triangles could be seen.

Anyway, all that aside, I'd love to sit down and chat with someone about black ops projects, advanced MIC tech, (Nikola) Tesla's supposedly lost projects and if we've really made contact.

As for the old thread, I'm not aware if it's still searchable on ATS.  If it is it's definitely worth the read.

He disappeared back in 2014. He did briefly return back in September of 2021. Made a couple posts, then disappeared again. I found his thread very compelling as well.

Conversation Topic: the social injustices of inherited racial prejudice and it's lingering impact on the 16.2 million children that struggle with hunger, and the benefits social programs, like welfare, and DEI scholarships have for children that rely on school lunch for their meals. Definitely want to hear about their crusade for family and child welfare on that one. Because much of their plan is also gutting welfare and federal funds that go towards feeding those 1 out of every 5 children. Will the cutting of foreign aid transfer to the US inner city where it's needed, or will it just be used to make up the shortfall from lowering taxes for the rich?

It's his groups plan being put into place as "Trump's ideas," so I want to ask them annoying SJW questions in an uncomfortable location.
