eta: latest news in criminal trial seems to be as of wednesday; no bail or release to private custody. https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/...92.0_1.pdf for some reason the judge didn't seem to trust that he wouldn't try and tamper with witnesses. more detail in the court order.

I am baffled how this image is contrary to what we are shown in the media... about itself.

Sure, everyone knows there are celebrities within the media sphere universe, that are examples of extreme dysfunction, just like anywhere else in life...

But what we have here is some kind of Elagabalus, or Caligula... and with scores if not hundreds of witnesses AND victims - with no one - NO ONE - making any move to stop it.

It made me wonder about the reign of Hollywood producer Weinstein, and what he long-subjected anyone he wanted to have, to endure if they sought to succeed.

Yet the peer group "just went along quietly" as if this were the normal "way of things."

The entertainment "news" media will squeeze this for clicks and bucks... but what will happen after that, I wonder?

Why did they "go along quietly"? Because for Americans that is the normal "way of things."

As usual, you are saying what needs to be said,... and more importantly 'heard.'

In all of these things, I keep finding myself think what a good education system would do towards remedying the lackluster haze of disinterest that clings to the 'public media consumers' who dwell largely, and almost exclusively in the world of "if it's not on TV/YouTube/Insta/whatever, it's not interesting."  They don't read anymore... they are "told."

Somehow people allowed all their children to be 'driven in interest' by a third party... telling them how and what to think, and feel.
