Speaker Johnson on Illegals and what Scripture Says

Interesting.

Methinks the Pope ought to convert Asia so they can benefit from God’s glory and open their borders per his religious prescription.

Not happening you say? Shucks. Guess foisting your beliefs on others is wrong maybe?

Do you consider it Christian behavior to cross the border into AZ, work at Applebees, while going to ASU and bragging that when you graduate you’ll be moving back to Mexico cause I’m quoting “I wound never live here”.  I actually met a girl who told me this once?

Do you consider it Christian to steal other peoples SSI#s to fraud every system possible.  Massachusetts just caught (shocking) two men in RI doing this very thing?  Stolen in the millions!

Do you think it is Christian to flood our country with fentanyl?

Do you think it is Christian to attack, rob, fake accidents to sue, murder, rape people in the country that let you in?  I have lived around all of this.  A child was raped in my neighborhood by a Haitian teenager?

I could go on and on, lots of examples.  The reality is, we need to know who is here.  If the system here failed you (I doubt it), why would you stay?

All that is because of a perverse system that is broken and does not work and still does not work. Why is fentanyl still an issue there? Because of a perverse government that does not really care to fix the problem.

So are you now pro-life because Pope Leo says you must be?
Or are you just hugging on the left wing messages he puts out and not the others?

 Lol Lol Lol

I have always been anti-abortion but I am pro-choice. Pro-life is a whole kettle of fish with double standards in those kettles with rotting fish.

I am not left-wing even though you want me to be. Sorry but you keep screwing up those simple facts.

See what a double-edged sword scripture interpretation can be?

"Pope Leo also clarified the scope of being "pro-life," asserting that selective opposition to abortion while supporting the death penalty, inhumane immigration policies, or the exploitation of the elderly and vulnerable does not constitute true pro-life commitment.  He stated, “Someone who says I am against abortion but is in agreement with the inhuman treatment of immigrants... I don’t know if that’s pro-life.” His message underscores that the pro-life ethic must be consistent across all stages of life and all human dignity issues"

"The U.S. immigration system is widely considered broken due to a combination of outdated laws, overwhelming demand, and systemic inefficiencies. Outdated laws, many unchanged since the 1980s and 1990s, fail to reflect modern migration patterns, creating massive backlogs—over 3.3 million pending asylum cases as of March 2025—and making legal pathways nearly impossible for many.  The asylum system, designed for a few thousand victims of state persecution, is now overwhelmed by hundreds of thousands of migrants from diverse countries, including families and children, many of whom are not eligible for asylum but have no other legal way to enter.
Congress has failed to pass comprehensive reform since the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, leaving the system reliant on executive actions that are often temporary, legally contested, and inconsistent.  Enforcement and processing are misaligned: while agencies like ICE and CBP receive billions for detention and deportation, immigration courts and USCIS lack funding and staff, leading to years-long delays. This imbalance incentivizes border crossings and traps millions of undocumented immigrants—estimated at 13.7 million as of mid-2023—in a legal limbo, unable to gain status or citizenship.

The system also creates perverse incentives: asylum seekers are allowed to work while their cases are pending, and the slow process encourages prolonged stays. Meanwhile, employers benefit from undocumented labor, and industries rely on it, making reform politically difficult. As a result, the system functions as a patchwork of enforcement, discretion, and loopholes—neither fair nor effective—leaving both immigrants and the government in a cycle of crisis and short-term fixes. "This legislation allocated $170.7 billion over four years for immigration and border enforcement, with $45 billion specifically for new detention centers and $29.9 billion for enforcement and deportation operations.  As a result, ICE's annual budget is now projected to average $37.5 billion over the next four years—more than three times its previous level."

"GEO Group and CoreCivic are the two largest private prison companies operating immigrant detention facilities in the United States, collectively managing over 80% of ICE detention beds.  These for-profit facilities are driven by financial incentives: companies earn revenue based on the number of detainees held, with ICE paying approximately $165 per person per day.  This profit model encourages maximizing occupancy and minimizing costs, often leading to inhumane conditionsforced labor at minimal wages, and reduced oversight."

But, of course, any mention of human rights violations or abuses will label me as left-wing. Even if I mention less government intervention and less taxpayer dollars will also label me as left-wing. lol what a lark.

There is a legal process to follow.
They are lawless line jumpers.
And have no right to be here.
Therefore ... THEY MUST LEAVE.
If they come in legally and don't line jump
then and only then will they be welcomed here.

I would encourage people to pick up a copy of Peter Schweizer's new book "The Invisible coup- How American Elites and Foreign Powers Use Immigration as a Weapon."

I'm just finished chapter 2 and the revelations are mind blowing.

Mexico has over 50 consulates in the U.S. and they have been using them to support illegal immigration.
There's a lot of details in the book. Obviously he can't get into a lot of details in such small clips.

Parts of the church seem to be changing their message.  I've heard people say "Jesus is sharing."  The message used to be "Jesus saves."

It is possible that since the change, America is attracting people who hope to learn to succeed here by taking advantage of the spiritually not strong.  That and the 1960s revolution.

It may have been that the communities which shared everything, which are described in Acts, understood that they were for the "believers" or those who desired salvation rather than sharing themselves in some sort of pagan ritual.  They may have been blacklisted to force them into something like the mob and so were often unable to live because no one gave them any cooperation until Christianity came along.  The point may have been to facilitate not being forced into pagan religion.

I discovered this dreadful but not-too-NSFW video from Youtube shorts which used its dramatic break for a soundtrack.  It may portray something similar what some of the newcomers hope to build:

The video portrays the meaning, and the lyrics are in German anyway, so feel free to turn the sound off if you don't like heavy metal, but it's not the one-upping the speed and dreadfulness kind of heavy metal.
