The Los Angeles Times is reporting that firefighters were ordered to leave a smoldering brush fire days before it reignited into the deadly Pacific Palisades inferno and that firefighters sent text messages warning their superiors that the ground was still hot and could easily reignite, but were told to pull out anyway.
