Is it true Trump sold the tanker oil for $500 Million and put it in a Qatar bank?

The money is intended for social projects, infrastructure, and to benefit the Venezuelan people, with Treasury Secretary Bessent stating, "We're the bankers here; we don't direct the funds". This is part of a larger agreement to help stabilize Venezuela's economy after years of sanctions, with the U.S. taking control of previously trapped oil. It might have been at their request i'm not sure but would you be happier if we deposited in American banks? Would that be fair or appropriate?

Four Venezuelan banks ​were notified this week by the country's government that they will split $300 million of oil revenues ‌deposited in an account in Qatar, enabling them to sell dollars to Venezuelan companies that need foreign exchange to pay for materials, two financial sources and an analyst said.

What you do expect them to do with the $500M of oil revenue? When the government of Venezuela gets that $300M, they can begin to use it to help the people. I'm sure the citizens of Venezuela will be happy to have $200M to rebuild their infrastructure. When the public works departments gets that $100M, they can begin to improve the lives of their people. $50M can go a long way!

India just signed a deal to buy Venezuelan oil with US approval. 

So now Venezuela is selling their oil at market rates instead of having to deal with China and Cuba.

A US special forces soldier involved in the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro was arrested and charged for allegedly betting on that operation, netting him $400,000 in profits.
The outsized trade involved with Operation Absolute Resolve caught the attention of law enforcement almost immediately.
According to an indictment unsealed Thursday, Master Sergeant Gannon Ken Van Dyke opened an account in late December on Polymarket, one of the best-known prediction markets. He wagered about $32,000 that Maduro would be “out” by January. The bet was a long-shot.
Van Dyke is facing five criminal charges and will make his first court appearance in North Carolina. Van Dyke is an active duty solider stationed at Fort Bragg. No attorney has been listed for him on the court docket.
